Enrolment increases putting strain on Edmonton Public Schools, projects 172,000 students by 2034
Edmonton Public Schools is experiencing record-breaking enrollment growth, with projections showing the student population could reach more than 125,000 students by September 2025, marking a 4.1 per cent increase from 2024, the board of trustees was told Tuesday.
