Comparison of BCMA with Glen ClarkPublic
Those of us who remember the battles our profession had with the NDP under Glen Clark's premiership may remember one of his more illuminating comments. In answer to a challenge regarding the appropriateness of something he was doing he responded along the lines 'We're the government - we can do anything'. (I can't find the original quote, but this is what I remember).
It seems to me the the powers-that-be at the BCMA entertain similar notions of arrogant grandeur. This is a perfect example of such attitudes.
